Shift Leader / Key Holder role available - c.25 hours per week - Friday to Sunday. Position available either as Employee or as Self-Employed.
Duties:
- Support the GM in the day-to-day, weekly and monthly operations of the venue, supporting back of house / cellar management
- Ensuring smooth and efficient service on shift, both on the bar and on table service
- Working with security staff to ensure door policies are adhered to and customer behaviours are managed appropriately
- Training bar staff "on the job" to ensure consistency and quality
- Weekly consumables stock counts and ordering
- Be a part of developing seasonal cocktail menus, including signature cocktails and seasonal offers
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and back of house
- Ad-hoc till management / programming
- Opportunity to manage staff rotas and staff holidays
- Assist Director with any recruitment needs and staff inductions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry
- Good knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and cocktails
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service establishments
- Familiarity with EPOS till systems
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service
