Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Periodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) diseases, ensuring patients achieve optimal oral health and a confident smile. Your expertise will contribute to comprehensive dental care by performing advanced procedures, utilizing cutting-edge technology, and educating patients on maintaining healthy gums. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives through expert periodontal care. Payment will be 50% to the specialist.
Duties
- Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, including gum infections, bone loss, and tissue deterioration
- Perform complex procedures such as gum grafts, pocket reductions, and dental implant placements
- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for planning surgical interventions and restorations
- Interpret medical imaging results to assess bone levels and tissue health accurately
- Apply thorough knowledge of oral anatomy to ensure precise surgical techniques and effective treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies to maintain long-term gum health
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
Skills
- Strong understanding of oral anatomy and periodontal pathology
- Proficiency in CAD software for surgical planning and restorative design
- Experience with medical imaging techniques such as X-rays, CBCT scans, or other advanced imaging tools
- Excellent manual dexterity and precision for performing delicate surgical procedures
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and empathetically to patients
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for interpreting diagnostic data
