Overview
We are seeking a reliable Double Manned Multi Drop Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently to multiple locations ensuring timely and safe transportation. This role requires excellent driving and customer service skills.
Duties
- Conduct multi-drop deliveries in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines
- Operate commercial vehicles safely, complying with all road safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with loading and unloading goods
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and collection of signatures or proof of delivery
- Communicate effectively with customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle interior and exterior throughout the shift
- Report any vehicle or delivery issues promptly to management for resolution
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments
- Valid class 2 licence, tachograph and CPC cards
- Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and team members
- Organised with excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices
- Ability to work as part of a 2 person team
This role is ideal for somebody seeking 3 to 4 days work a week, who enjoys working as a team and being on the road. Hourly rate to be discussed upon application
Pay: £12.21-£22.01 per hour
