Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective pre commissioning cleaning of heating and chilled water systems operation. This role requires a strong understanding of water treatment cleaning and dosing processes, as well as the ability to work with various hand and power tools. The Water Treatment Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining water quality standards and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain water treatment equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of water treatment facilities to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
- Perform heating and chilled water systems preconceived cleaning and dosing of inhibitors. DHCWS chlorination and temperature checks.
- Monitor water quality parameters and make adjustments as necessary to meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve operational problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, water quality tests, and compliance reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols related to water treatment operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within the water treatment industry is mandatory.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is essential for performing maintenance tasks effectively.
- A solid understanding of water treatment processes, regulations, and best practices is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Experience:
- cleaning: 3 years (preferred)
- Pipework cleaning and water treatment: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
