Salary: £850 per month + performance-based bonus/commission (subject to targets and attendance)
Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 (with 30 min lunch break)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and target-driven Student Advisor to join Uni Talent Network Ltd. The role is central to supporting student recruitment and outreach activities across higher education institutions. You will play a key part in engaging prospective students, guiding them through the enquiry-to-enrolment journey, and ensuring a positive applicant experience.
This is a KPI-driven role where success will be measured by your ability to achieve student recruitment targets, generate engagement from underrepresented groups, and support progression into higher education.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach & Marketing
- Deliver targeted campaigns to engage hard-to-reach and underrepresented communities.
- Promote institutions’ programmes and opportunities through local events, community partnerships, and digital channels.
- Provide marketing insights and feedback to improve outreach strategies.
Recruitment & Admissions Support
- Actively recruit students by providing impartial advice on higher education pathways, courses, and progression opportunities.
- Support prospective students with application and enrolment processes.
- Ensure applicants complete all required documentation and provide declarations of independent decision-making.
Event & Enquiry Management
- Manage bookings and encourage strong applicant attendance.
- Provide personalised enquiry handling to prospective students.
Reporting & KPIs
- Report outreach results, applicant engagement levels, and recruitment outcomes.
- Identify trends, barriers, and opportunities to increase enrolments.
- Work towards agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including:
- Number of student enrolments generated.
Requirements Essential
- Proven experience in student recruitment within the education sector (Higher Education or Further Education).
- Strong communication, outreach, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work to KPI-based targets.
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in reporting, data collection, and feedback presentation.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt responsibilities to meet company needs.
Desirable
- Experience working with underrepresented or hard-to-reach communities.
- Event coordination or student engagement experience.
- Knowledge of higher education access and participation policies.
