LCV Technician
Basic Salary: £42,000-£48,000
Hours: Monday to Friday days only
Overtime: Available
My client is looking for a qualified LCV Technician to support their team. Responsible for the workshop maintaining vehicles, carrying out inspections, repairs and services, work allocation & prioritisation, team holidays & time sheets.
What you’ll be doing in your new LCV Technician role:
- Carrying out diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on vans and LCVs
- Conducting maintenance checks and identifying potential issues early
- Repair or replace broken or defective parts.
- Attend breakdowns on site, fault diagnosis and correct rectification.
- Correctly process all jobs on the works handheld tablet to include the allocation of labor and any parts used.
- Supporting the team with warranty work and paperwork
- Performing wheel alignments, tyre work and test drives
The successful LCV Technician will have:
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (NVQ, IMI, or City & Guilds)
- Proven LCV or vehicle servicing experience
- Confidence using diagnostic tools and workshop systems
- Strong problem-solving ability and great attention to detail
- Valid UK driving licence
