Luna Motorhome Hire is a small but growing, customer-focused company specialising in motorhome rentals. Our mission is to provide safe, clean, and reliable vehicles so that our customers can enjoy unforgettable adventures in the UK and beyond.
We are currently looking for flexible cleaning operatives to join our small and friendly team to thoroughly clean and sanitise our fleet of motorhomes and campervans internally and externally to a high standard in between hires. The post holder will also maintain the laundry and ensure all equipment booked by our customers is ready for each hire.

Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise the interior and exterior of the vehicles to a high standard completing the cleaning checklist as required.
- Adhere to the cleaning routines and complete tasks within allocated timeframes.
- Undertake additional deep cleaning required as part of the pre and post season preparedness.
- Assist with other tasks as and when required e.g. steaming upholstery/bedding, checking for faulty or broken equipment.
- Report any damage or missing items in a timely manner so that any issues can be rectified for the following hire.
- Ensure that all standard equipment and any extra’s as booked by the customer are in good working order and included in the vehicle ahead of the booking commencing e.g. gas bottle/levelling blocks/toilet chemicals/camping table and chairs/additional bed linen/kitchen kit etc.
- Pro-actively ensure that the on-site laundry and cleaning of the vehicle kitchen equipment is undertaken and stored appropriately by use of the washer/dryer and dishwashers.
- Keep the yard/work area safe and tidy.
- Ensure all cleaning and equipment and supplies are used efficiently and safely.
- Support other operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar setting is advantageous but not essential, training will be provided.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow checklists/procedures.
- Physically able to undertake manual tasks (lifting, bending, moving equipment). This includes cleaning in high cupboards, climbing steep ladders to clean under mattresses and make beds in small over-cab spaces, the cleaning of small garage areas, carrying 8kg gas bottles to and from vehicles.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to switch between tasks at a moment’s notice whilst ensuring the hire timetable is met and customers’ needs are prioritised.
- Available to work flexibly during the week and at peak seasons.
