About Pertemba
At Pertemba, we're passionate about connecting great products with customers all over the world. Founded in Leicester in 2015, we're a family-owned global eCommerce business working with 150+ marketplaces and 250+ brand partners. We help our partners sell internationally through marketplace integrations, localised content, pricing, cross-border logistics, multi-currency payments and fulfilment.
We use technology, data and automation to make international eCommerce simple and scalable. We're growing quickly and are looking for people who are comfortable working at pace, solving problems and taking ownership.
The Role
We're looking for a high-energy, execution-focused Marketplace Integrations Supervisor to lead the day-to-day performance and output of our Marketplace Integrations team.
The Marketplace Integrations Supervisor is a role for someone who gets things done. You'll set priorities, drive pace, hold the team accountable and ensure work is delivered accurately and on time. You'll oversee marketplace integrations, product listings, data feeds and channel performance, while identifying and removing blockers that prevent the team from moving forward. A key part of the role is making sure work doesn't simply get started - it gets finished.
This is not a purely managerial role. You'll also be hands-on technically, working with marketplace integrations, product data, feeds, rules and large datasets. You'll get into the detail, troubleshoot technical issues and help unblock the team when required.
You'll manage 2 direct reports in the UK and an extended team of 22 colleagues in India, working closely with the Senior Marketplace Manager to maintain high standards of productivity, urgency, accuracy and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership, Performance and Delivery
- Lead and develop the Marketplace Integrations team across the UK and India, creating a culture of pace, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Set clear priorities, deadlines and expectations and ensure work is delivered on time and to the required standard.
- Monitor team output, workloads, backlogs and KPIs, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, delays or underperformance.
- Challenge missed deadlines and unnecessary delays, ensuring actions are followed through to completion.
- Translate business priorities into clear actions, owners and deadlines and drive projects and tasks through to completion.
- Identify and remove blockers, maintaining momentum and intervening quickly when delivery is at risk.
- Coach and develop team members, providing clear performance feedback and building technical capability.
- Establish and improve processes, SOPs and ways of working to increase team productivity and efficiency.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, output and operational efficiency.
- Introduce new processes, tools and automation where they can improve team performance.
- Measure the impact of improvements and report performance and progress to the Senior Marketplace Manager.
Marketplace Integrations &and Technical Delivery
- Own the timely onboarding and ongoing performance of marketplace integrations.
- Ensure new products are listed quickly, accurately and in line with marketplace requirements.
- Configure, map and optimise product data feeds using platforms such as Rithum, Channable or similar.
- Work with large datasets, applying rules and data transformations to optimise product information and channel performance.
- Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot technical, feed and marketplace issues, including urgent incidents.
- Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Analyse live listing volumes and develop action plans to resolve errors and increase the number of saleable SKUs across channels.
- Act as a technical escalation point for the team when required.
Reporting and Communication
- Provide regular visibility of team performance, workload, project progress and integration health.
- Report on key metrics including listing volumes, live SKU counts, errors, backlogs, productivity and turnaround times.
- Highlight risks and issues early, alongside a clear plan for resolution.
- Work effectively with UK and India-based teams and other internal departments to ensure priorities are understood and delivered.
