Who We Are
Red House Farm re-opened its doors under new ownership in Whitley Bay back in November 2025 as a proud family-run business.
Since then, we've grown steadily, driven by a simple belief: good food and warm service bring people back.
Our team has worked hard to earn our customers' trust, and that trust means everything to us.
Now we're stepping into an exciting new chapter.
We're relaunching our food offering with a traditional gastro-style menu — hearty, honest homemade dishes made with real care.
And we need another skilled pair of hands in the kitchen to help us bring it to life.
The Role
You'll be joining a close-knit team that already sets a high bar.
These are people who take pride in every plate, who sweat the small details, and who back each other up when the pressure builds.
You'll fit right in if you feel the same way.
Day to day, you'll:
- Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard
- Help shape and deliver our new gastro-style menu
- Keep your section clean, organised, and running smoothly
- Work alongside the team to keep service sharp and steady
- Bring fresh ideas and genuine passion to the kitchen

- Real experience cooking in a busy kitchen
- A love for quality ingredients and proper, honest food
- Reliability, focus, and calm under pressure
- A team spirit — someone who lifts the people around them
- Pride in the work, from prep right through to the pass
Formal qualifications are welcome, but skill, attitude, and heart matter most.
