We're looking for a passionate travel expert to work 3 days a week, inspiring our clients with unforgettable holiday experiences while delivering top-tier customer service.
Key Purpose of the Role
To deliver exceptional customer service and travel solutions that exceed client expectations while providing support to the Branch Manager. The role requires high levels of commitment, energy, and enthusiasm, with a focus on achieving personal, branch, and company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to company opening hours and deliver consistently high levels of customer service.
- Follow the Company Service Level Agreement (SLA) for enquiries and client care.
- Create exciting, tailored travel itineraries for a diverse range of clients.
- Manage enquiries, bookings, and follow-ups promptly and professionally.
- Achieve and exceed personal and branch sales targets.
- Promote preferred suppliers and upsell relevant products and add-ons to maximise every booking.
- Add value to each client interaction by offering enhancements and recommendations.
- Provide accurate travel advice, including passport, visa, and vaccination requirements.
- Ensure all client enquiries are acknowledged and followed up within SLA timeframes.
- Communicate terms and conditions clearly to clients.
- Handle complaints, amendments, and refunds efficiently and empathetically.
- Work collaboratively with team members, offering support where required.
- Support the company’s preferred partner strategy and maintain strong relationships with tour operators.
- Proactively develop and maintain extensive product and industry knowledge through online training, supplier events, and familiarisation trips.
- Contribute creative marketing ideas and assist with local promotional activities.
- Uphold company standards and policies as detailed in the staff handbook.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional office environment.
- Ensure store security and proper closing procedures are followed.
Skills & Knowledge
- Proven track record in sales and customer service within the travel retail sector.
- Strong organisational and time management skills; able to multitask effectively.
- Proactive, enthusiastic team player with a genuine passion for travel.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of the travel industry and current market trends.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.

Working Hours
- Weekdays: 9:30am – 5:00pm
- Saturdays: 10:00am – 4:30pm
- Closed: Sundays & Bank Holidays
