Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofing and Cladding Specialist to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems and cladding materials on a variety of commercial and industrial structures. Your expertise will help ensure the durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our projects. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans related to roofing and cladding installations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and install roofing materials such as metal panels, shingles, or membrane systems.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary substrates to ensure proper adhesion of roofing or cladding materials.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols to transport materials and equipment across job sites.
- Execute masonry, carpentry, plumbing, or other related tasks as needed to support roofing or cladding projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Conduct inspections throughout the project lifecycle to identify issues early and implement corrective actions promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction with a focus on roofing or cladding installation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans.
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, plumbing or related trades is highly desirable.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in construction environments.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights comfortably.
- Familiarity with roofing systems including metal panels, membranes, shingles or other materials.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety standards and quality assurance.
