You’ll lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of your team, ensuring the right people and skills are in place to meet outbound requirements. You’ll manage labour effectively, support rota planning and ensure your team is trained, engaged and clear on their priorities, while coaching and developing colleagues to perform at their best.
A key part of your role will be maintaining high standards across safety, quality, service and operational performance. You’ll champion health and safety, food safety, hygiene and quality requirements within your area, supporting investigations and audits and ensuring all relevant training, compliance documentation and records are maintained accurately.
Working closely with teams across Supply Chain, Quality and Health & Safety, you’ll help ensure stock moves accurately and efficiently through the outbound operation. You’ll monitor stock accuracy, pick-list delivery and warehouse activity, identifying and resolving issues before they impact service or performance.
You’ll also play an important role in driving continuous improvement across your area. By monitoring performance against our SQCDME priorities, you’ll identify opportunities to improve efficiency, address operational challenges and lead problem-solving activities with your team.
As a Team Leader, you’ll set the standard for how we work. You’ll ensure clear communication between shifts, provide constructive feedback, support return-to-work processes and confidently manage day-to-day people matters to maintain a positive, collaborative and high-performing environment.
This role requires flexibility to work across two different shift patterns to provide consistent leadership and support across the outbound operation.
