Pay Rate: 25.78PPH for Band 6 and 30 PPH for Band 7 on Umbrella
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Band 6/7 Podiatrist to join a diabetes care service in Brighton on a full-time, 3-month locum contract.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality podiatric assessment and clinical management for both routine and high-risk patients, with a particular focus on diabetic foot care and ulcer management.
There may also be a requirement to undertake domiciliary visits and travel between satellite clinics across the Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage high-risk diabetic feet and foot ulcers.
- Deliver podiatric care to both high-risk and routine patients.
- Complete comprehensive new patient assessments.
- Undertake domiciliary visits where required.
- Work across satellite clinics in Brighton & Hove and the wider HWLH area.
- Use SystmOne for clinical documentation and patient records.
Essential Requirements
- Current and relevant Podiatry qualification.
- Strong clinical experience at Band 6 level or above.
- Proven experience in high-risk diabetic foot assessment and management.
- Experience in ulcer assessment and management.
- SystmOne experience.
- Smartcard access.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own vehicle.
- Willingness and ability to travel between clinics and undertake home visits where required.
