Assistant Cook - Job Description
26.25 hours per week, Term time only, 8.30am to 13.45pm
This is covering for sick leave but opportunities exist in the future to work at other schools in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist manager with the cooking and daily operations of the kitchen
- Lunch preparation, service and clearing away
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Cook or Catering Assistant with baking experience or similar role preferably in a school setting
- Strong culinary skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
