Job Overview
We need a handyman for our client, who is a busy letting agency.
You will work independently with your own tools, and we will pay for materials. The work will be around Huntingdon.
You will be carrying out work on properties rented to council tenants.
You will need to be able to communicate and use common sense
You must complete work in a timely manner
You need to be reliable and organised with keys and bits of paper
You must call or respond to calls from the office to let them know what’s happening
There will be a mandatory weekly line management meeting
Duties are:
- To meet tenants and move them in
- To change locks
- To gain entry in the property when there are no keys
- Serving documents to tenants
- Glazing
- Shower repairs
- Door Repairs
- Fitting items like window restrictors
- Getting keys cut
- Resolving plumbing Issues
- Basic repaint
- Toilet repairs
- Moving furniture
- And other general repairs in rental properties
