What You Will DoWorking alongside our Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will play a key role in running a busy kitchen:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality, fresh dishes to exact specifications.
- Take ownership of a designated section during fast-paced breakfast and lunch services.
- Maintain consistency, portion control, and excellent presentation standards.
- Contribute creative ideas for our seasonal menus, daily specials, and events.
- Assist in ordering, checking, and rotating fresh stock and ingredients.
- Support, mentor, and help develop junior members of the kitchen team.
- Adhere to the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety regulations.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience working as a Chef or Chef de Partie in a busy, fast-paced restaurant or café environment.
- Passion for Food: A genuine love for fresh ingredients, seasonal cooking, and high standards of presentation.
- Skills: Strong communication, time-management, and organization skills under pressure.
- Qualifications: Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 minimum) is preferred.
- Attitude: A positive, reliable team player who is eager to contribute to a thriving kitchen culture.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
