Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

We are currently at an exciting stage of growth and are looking to welcome a new Registered Manager to join our dedicated team and lead our services that genuinely improve people’s lives. As a Registered Manager, you will have regulatory responsibility with the Care Quality Commission and oversee the day to day operations of our regulated services whilst equally making leadership decisions that have a visible impact. This includes carrying out quality audits, conducting team meetings, spot checks and conducting supervisions.
You will work in close partnership with multi-disciplinary teams and build strong relationships with families and other professionals involved in the care of our Loved One’s, ensuring their best interests are always put first.
You will be outcomes focused, setting clear person-centred goals and tracking progress to support our Loved Ones in achieving the outcomes and quality of life they have said matter most to them.

What you’ll do
As a Registered Manager, you will:
Core Responsibilities
- Put the needs of our Loved Ones first, ensuring the care they receive is tailored to their individual needs
- Ensure our service complies with legal and CQC regulatory requirements
- Update monthly and quarterly audits that ensure our high quality standards including medication, safeguarding
- Use service led data to drive continuous improvements
- Conduct supervisions and appraisals for our field based staff and provide regular feedback, praising what has gone well and identifying growth opportunities
- Conduct regular service reviews
- Ensure care plans are reviewed and updated as needed to meet the needs and support arrangements of our Loved Ones.
- Manage annual leave in line with service needs, and work with the Care Co-ordinator to prevent understaffing and team pressure.
- Take the lead with new referrals, conducting care assessments and developing a tailored care plan.
- Be a leader for our care staff, providing clear guidance and support
- Support new care staff through induction and probation to be successful in their roles
- Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders, families, loved ones and staff.
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
What we’re looking for
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care.
- Strong leadership skills and knowledge of risk management, safeguarding and medication governance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Values-driven with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Ability to travel and work in the field as and when required to meet needs of the business
