Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Damp Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and identifying damp issues within properties, providing accurate reports, and recommending appropriate remedial actions. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive damp surveys on residential and commercial properties to identify signs of dampness and related issues.
- Analyse survey findings accurately, documenting evidence of damp and potential causes.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining the extent of damp problems, recommended solutions, and necessary remedial works.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss survey results and advise on appropriate treatment options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of damp prevention techniques, building regulations, and industry standards.
- Ensure all survey activities are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Experience
- Proven experience in property surveying, particularly in damp assessment or related fields.
- Must hold a qualification in Damp Surveying**
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical data accurately.
- Familiarity with building structures, materials, and moisture detection methods is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple surveys efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. Pay: £650.00-£800.00 per week
