Not every young person gets the childhood they deserve.
That's where you come in!
At Plus One, we support children and young people who have experienced trauma, loss and instability. We're looking for calm, caring and emotionally resilient individuals to help create safe and supportive homes where young people can begin to trust again.
You don't need previous care experience - If you've got empathy, patience, consistency and the ability to show up even on difficult days, we can teach you the rest.
What the role really involves
This is more than supervision.
Its:
- being the trusted adult a young person remembers

- celebrating the small wins that others might miss
- helping young people feel safe, valued and understood
- creating routines, boundaries and positive experiences
- supporting children through difficult moments with compassion and consistency
Some days will be challenging
Some days will be incredible
Every day matters!
