Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Egg Collection Operative to join our growing team. This role involves the collection of eggs from poultry facilities, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene. The successful candidate will play a vital part with in the team to maintain efficient farm operations around egg collection.
Duties
- Collect eggs using automated machines following established procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Assist with daily cleaning tasks .
- Conduct basic animal care activities, monitoring bird health and behaviour.
- Maintain accurate records of egg collection and farm activities.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair is desirable.
Requirements
- Driving licence
- Experience with live stock is helpful but not necessary
- Training is available
- Must be able to work with poultry
- Work well as a team
- Fit and healthy
- Any age considered
Other
We are looking for some one to do 20 hours per week but for the right person more hours are available. There are a lot of other operations on the farm so good opportunities for progression.
There will be a house for the right person available on the farm.
Normal egg collection working hours are 7am to 1pm this is only a guid and could be more depending on the day.
We are a growing family run business with a good friendly working atmosphere.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
