SITE MANAGER
Drylining & Plastering | Leeds
PROJECT: Urban Village – Student Accommodation
LOCATION: Leeds
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee drylining and plastering works on a major student accommodation project in Leeds. The successful candidate will manage site teams, materials, programme, quality and health and safety throughout the works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage drylining and plastering teams, subcontractors and daily workloads on site.
- Plan labour levels and coordinate works in line with the project programme.
- Monitor drylining and plastering materials, deliveries and stock requirements.
- Ensure installations meet the required drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Lead site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.
- Maintain high health and safety standards and accurate site records.
- Liaise with the main contractor, project team and other trades.
- Report progress, risks, labour requirements and potential delays.
- Manage snagging, remedial works and completion through to handover.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous Site Manager experience within drylining and plastering.
- Strong knowledge of drylining systems, plastering methods and associated materials.
- Proven experience managing teams and subcontractors on major construction projects.
- Strong understanding of programme delivery, quality control and site health and safety.
- Confident communicator with strong planning and organisational skills.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
- Experience on student accommodation or large residential projects would be advantageous.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
