Duties
- Diagnose complex vehicle issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical expertise
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Conduct equipment repair and maintenance to ensure workshop safety and operational efficiency
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to facilitate precise repairs
- Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices on advanced repair techniques
- Maintain detailed records of all work carried out in accordance with company standards
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and mechanical principles
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, and equipment troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently within the workshop environment
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team under pressure

Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour
