About the Role
TalentRise Technokrate Solutions supports organisations across technology, distribution, logistics and professional services. We are looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to manage commercial agreements, maintain accurate contract records and support effective relationships with clients, suppliers and internal departments.
You will oversee contracts throughout their lifecycle, from initial review and approval through amendments, renewals and closeout. You will work closely with procurement, finance, operations, legal advisers and project teams to ensure that contractual obligations are clearly understood and completed within agreed timescales.
This position is suitable for a detail-focused contracts professional who can manage competing priorities, identify commercial risks and maintain accurate documentation in a busy operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Administration: Manage the day-to-day administration of client, supplier and service contracts across assigned business areas.
Contract Review: Review proposed terms, schedules, pricing arrangements and supporting documents before contracts are submitted for approval.
Contract Preparation: Prepare contract documents, amendments, extension letters, renewal notices and other commercial correspondence.
Lifecycle Management: Monitor contracts from initial drafting and approval through implementation, renewal, variation and closure.
Compliance Monitoring: Track contractual obligations, deliverables, service standards, insurance requirements and key reporting dates.
Risk Identification: Identify unclear terms, commercial exposure, missed obligations and potential contractual risks for escalation.
Renewal Coordination: Maintain a schedule of contract expiry dates and coordinate renewal discussions before agreements lapse.
Change Control: Record and administer changes to scope, pricing, timelines and service requirements through approved variation procedures.
Stakeholder Support: Provide clear contractual information to project managers, procurement teams, finance colleagues and operational departments.
Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and service providers regarding documentation, performance requirements and contractual queries.
Commercial Records: Maintain accurate contract registers, approval records, correspondence, certificates and supporting documentation.
Invoice Verification: Assist finance teams by checking invoices, purchase orders and payment milestones against agreed contract terms.
Performance Reporting: Prepare contract status reports covering renewals, variations, risks, obligations and outstanding actions.
Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to contract templates, approval workflows, record management and administrative procedures.
Team Guidance: Support junior contract administrators and coordinators by reviewing documentation and providing practical guidance.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in contract administration, commercial coordination, procurement, supply chain or a related role.
Contract Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract terms, amendments, renewals, service agreements and commercial documentation.
Commercial Awareness: Ability to understand pricing arrangements, payment terms, service obligations and contractual risk.
Document Management: Experience maintaining contract registers, approval records and controlled commercial documentation.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when reviewing terms, dates, values and supporting records.
Organisation: Ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, renewals and stakeholder requests simultaneously.
Communication: Clear and professional written and verbal communication with internal teams, suppliers and clients.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to work effectively with procurement, finance, operations, project teams and external advisers.
Problem-Solving: A practical approach to resolving documentation issues, missing information and contractual discrepancies.
Systems Knowledge: Comfortable using contract-management systems, procurement platforms, document repositories and spreadsheets.
Qualifications: A qualification in business, procurement, commercial management, law, supply chain or a related discipline is preferred.
Mindset: Dependable, commercially aware and confident taking ownership of contract-administration activities.
Pay: £3,500.00-£3,700.00 per month
