Telephonist / Account Manager Wanted! – Part Time
We’re a successful courier company based in Hammersmith, and we’re on the hunt for a friendly and driven Account Manager / Telephonist to join our team part time.
The job is for 3 days a week in our Hammersmith Office which opens Monday to Friday between 0900-1700
If you like to talk to people on the phone and building relationships, you’ll help us maintain our position and grow as London’s go-to experts in same-day and international deliveries.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responding to phone calls from our clients and booking courier jobs in our internal dispatch system (full training will be given)
- Build real, lasting connections with customers and become the person they trust for courier solutions.
- Keep the sales process ticking, working with the team to make sure our pipeline is always thriving with the right opportunities.
- Work closely with our management team to create a winning strategy that keeps our clients happy and the company thriving.
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, adaptable attitude with every interaction over the phone or email.
- Office, call centre, or customer service experience - ideally in logistics, couriers, or something similar.
- Someone who’s great at understanding customer needs and selling solutions that work.
- Self-motivation and the ability to spot new business opportunities.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills—you know how to connect with people.
- A confident phone manner and top-notch listening skills and great writing abilities
- Hardworking, with a team player mentality and a "can-do" spirit.
