FEMALE DRIVER TO WORK FULL DAY SATURDAY & FULL DAY SUNDAY EVERY WEEK. Extra shifts available too during the week. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals within their own homes. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their wellbeing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, and have a genuine desire to help others. Previous experience in care home settings or home care is essential. Full training will be provided. Must be a driver with own Transport.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting clients with mobility and transfers safely and comfortably
- Helping with household chores including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Administering medication as per care plans (training provided)
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with appointments and errands, including driving clients when necessary
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care
Experience
- Driving licence and use of car is mandatory
- Experience working in a home care environment is essential
- Familiarity with following care plans is advantageous
- Fair IT skills for maintaining records and communicating electronically (guidance provided)
- Strong communication skills in English to build rapport with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple care responsibilities effectively

This position must cover weekends or alternate weekends as well.
