£100 per week basic PLUS Uncapped Commission.
Job description
Business Development Executive – Nightlife & Event Medical
We’re looking for a confident, motivated Business Development Executive to help grow two developing medical services across South Wales: ReadyMed and ClubCare.
This is a small, flexible part-time role with a guaranteed basic payment plus uncapped commission on new business generated. It could suit someone already working within sales, hospitality, nightlife or events who is looking for an additional flexible role where strong results are directly rewarded.
What you'll be selling
ReadyMed provides professional medical and first aid services including:
- Event medical cover
- First aid training for businesses and organisations
ClubCare provides medical support services specifically for the night-time economy, working with pubs, clubs and other hospitality venues to help them manage customers who become unwell, injured or vulnerable.
You'll receive full information and support on our services. No medical or clinical experience is required.
What you'll be doing
Your focus will be generating new business. This will include:
- Identifying potential customers across South Wales
- Contacting event organisers, businesses, pubs, clubs and hospitality venues
- Making initial contact by telephone, email and other appropriate channels
- Following up prospective customers
- Building relationships with venue managers, event organisers and other decision-makers
- Arranging meetings and introductions where appropriate
- Occasionally visiting prospective customers and venues
- Maintaining accurate records of leads, conversations and opportunities within our CRM
- Working with management to progress opportunities through to confirmed business
- Identifying opportunities for repeat business and referrals
Who we're looking for
We're more interested in your ability to communicate, build relationships and generate opportunities than formal qualifications.
You may be particularly suited to the role if you have experience in:
- Business development or sales
- Hospitality or nightlife
- Events
- Account management
- Venue management
- B2B customer relationships
Existing contacts within the South Wales hospitality, nightlife or events industries would be particularly valuable, but are not essential.
You should be comfortable approaching new businesses and starting conversations with decision-makers.
Hours and working arrangements
This is a flexible part-time position of approximately 7.5 hours per week.
Much of the work can be completed remotely and the working pattern can be flexible. There will also be opportunities to meet or visit prospective customers across South Wales where appropriate.
This is a results-focused role. We are looking for someone who can use their time effectively rather than simply make a high volume of scripted sales calls.
Pay and commission
The role provides a guaranteed basic of approximately £100 per week plus uncapped commission.
Commission is paid for successful new business generated across our services, including event medical bookings, training and recurring ClubCare venue contracts.
Our commission structure is designed so that successful business development can significantly increase earnings above the basic pay.
Full commission terms will be provided before appointment.
About us
ReadyMed and ClubCare are growing services focused on providing practical medical support where it's needed.
ReadyMed provides event medical cover and first aid training, while ClubCare provides medical response and support specifically for the night-time economy.
We're at an early stage of growing both services and this role provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to play a significant part in that growth. As the customer base develops, there is potential for the role and available hours to grow with it.
