UDCS Demolition Ltd is a growing demolition contractor seeking a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our commercial team.
The Role
Based from our Lincoln office, with regular site visits across the UK, you will take responsibility for managing the commercial performance of demolition projects ranging from £10k to £1m. Projects vary in duration from one week to up to twelve months, offering genuine variety and exposure. You will be responsible for:
- Managing project CVRs
- Preparing and agreeing client valuations
- Managing change and variations
- Subcontractor procurement and payments
- Cost forecasting and margin protection
- Commercial reporting to the Commercial Manager/Director
You will manage multiple projects independently while working closely with operational teams in a small, fast-moving business.
About You
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or demolition
- Strong understanding of CVRs and cost reporting
- Confident handling variations and change
- Organised and commercially aware
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
