Team Leader – Lawn Renovations
Fixed-Term Contract (February to Mid-June) | Full-Time | Monday to Friday
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Team Leader to oversee and support a small team delivering professional lawn renovation services. This is a hands-on, outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in their results and can take ownership of their day.
You will lead daily operations on site, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while maintaining equipment and supporting team productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Operations
- Lead and motivate a small team on daily lawn renovation projects
- Allocate tasks and ensure work is completed to schedule and quality standards
- Set the pace on site and promote a positive, team-focused working environment
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and management throughout the day
Lawn Renovation Duties
- Carry out lawn renovation services including:
- Scarification
- Aeration
- Overseeding
- Assist with site preparation and clean-up
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Planning & Organisation
- Plan daily routes and workload to maximise productivity
- Take ownership of timelines and proactively manage the day’s schedule
- Identify and resolve issues on site where possible
Equipment & Vehicle Care
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of machinery and company van
- Carry out daily checks to ensure equipment is safe and operational
- Report faults or maintenance requirements promptly
About You
- Proven experience leading a small team or working in a supervisory role
- Strong work ethic with a “get it done” attitude
- Comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding role
- Organised and able to take ownership of your workload
- Positive, reliable and proactive approach
Previous lawn care experience is not required as you will be working alongside experienced team members.
Requirements
- Full driving licence (essential)
- Ability to travel to the warehouse location daily
- Ideally based within a 30-minute commute of the LE14 3 area
- Ability to undertake physical outdoor work
Working Pattern & Contract
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Hours vary depending on daily workload and travel
- Fixed-term contract from early February to mid-June

Pay: £14.00 per hour
