Duties
- Assist with medication dispensing under supervision, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Support pharmacy staff with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
- Engage in patient care activities, including providing medication information and answering basic queries.
- Observe and learn about medication administration procedures and protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy setting to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop professional knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
- Enrolled as a pharmacy student or in a related healthcare programme.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of medication administration processes and patient care principles.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating professionalism when interacting with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
