A Fantastic Opportunity: Electrical Fitters Mate
As a Fitters Mate, you will work as part of a two-person team. Work will include assisting the Fitter with substation maintenance, construction & inspections.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all work carried out is in accordance with Health and Safety and company codes of practice, whilst maintaining high levels of customer service. This will involve working live on 230 / 440V apparatus, conductors and other equipment as required.
You will be expected as part of a team to complete Point of Work Risk Assessments and operate hand tools in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company codes of practice.
The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Be willing to work outside in all weathers (essential);

Demonstrate the ability to complete paperwork relating to work based activities (essential);

Be in possession of a full UK driving licence (essential) with categories B+E (desirable);

Be customer focused with the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers (essential);

Hold operational authorisations to act as a competent person.
