Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable CSCS Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with their tasks, including handling materials and tools efficiently
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Support roofing, plumbing, electrical, masonry, carpentry, plastering, fabrication, and painting activities as directed
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and correctly under supervision
- Follow schematics and technical instructions to aid in fabrication or installation tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
- Assist with site logistics such as loading/unloading materials and ensuring equipment is ready for use
Skills
- Basic knowledge of construction processes and site safety procedures
- Experience or familiarity with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or masonry is a plus
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to read schematics or technical drawings is advantageous
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and carpentry fundamentals is beneficial
