Chalk Group is an independent and growing group of neighbourhood restaurants and cafés across Wokingham, Farnborough and Aldershot. We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. You'll play a vital role in keeping our kitchens clean, organised and running efficiently, supporting our chefs and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety are maintained throughout the day.

What you'll be doing
- Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas.
- Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping floors, walls, work surfaces and storage areas clean and tidy.
- Ensuring all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste and recycling in line with company procedures.
- Receiving and putting away deliveries safely and correctly.
- Restocking cleaning materials and reporting any shortages.
- Supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Following all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.

- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Previous kitchen porter experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.

Pay: £25,420.00-£32,471.87 per year
