We are seeking an experienced and proactive Area Site Supervisor to oversee multiple operational sites within a designated area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all sites operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, while providing leadership and support to site-based teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities across multiple sites within the assigned area.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Monitor site performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to Site Managers and site teams.
- Ensure all work activities are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and client requirements.
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimise disruption.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and site documentation.
- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities across sites.
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines and service levels are achieved.
- Lead site meetings and communicate key updates to stakeholders.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, training, and performance management activities.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement across all locations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Site Supervisor, Senior Site Supervisor, or Area Supervisor role.
- Experience managing multiple sites simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications and electronic reporting systems.
- Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol (D&A) testing and BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) vetting
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- SSSTS Qualification of above
