Quality Assurance Engineer
Plotbox are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in a software testing role to join an ambitious, growing company and develop their career with the right training and mentorship.
The Role
You will be part of the Engineering team, and will work closely with the Delivery team to carry out the following duties:
- Identify and raise bugs in a timely manner
- Test data migrations
- Provide QA support on new project implementation
- Create detailed test plans and test cases
- Liaise with internal teams including developers and product managers to identify system requirements
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts
- Help get projects ready for Data Acceptance Testing
The Person
Essential
You will:

Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar subject

Have a strong working knowledge of software methodologies, tools and processes

Have at least one years' experience in a software testing or quality assurance role

Have experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases

Have experience of working in an agile/scrum environment
Desirable
You will:

Have experience of automated testing

Have working knowledge of SQL
