Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Junior Commercial Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with business clients, identifying new sales opportunities, and supporting the delivery of tailored solutions to meet client needs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales, customer service, and business development to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to driving revenue growth.
The Role
- Supporting the commercial team with day-to-day trading and operations
- Speaking with customers, suppliers, hauliers, and cold stores
- Assisting with customer orders, stock management, and product availability
- Helping manage deliveries, arrivals, and operational issues
- Visiting storage facilities as part of the team
- Assisting with stock checks, quality control, and produce management
- General office administration and data entry
- Learning all aspects of the wholesale fresh produce trade
What We’re Looking For

- Organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone
- Reliable and able to use initiative
- Happy working as part of a small team
- Comfortable getting stuck in both in the office and at storage facilities when required
- Full UK driving licence required
- Timeframes are the start of July, within the flexibility of any suitable candidate’s notice period.
- Flexibility to be available on bank holidays may be required
- Working hours would be Monday – Friday 7am-4pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Some minimal weekend work from home will be required to help monitor operations and support the business when needed.
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
