SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant
Availability: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4pm
Contract: Temp to Perm
Start Date: ASAP
Level 3 EYFS Qualification Required
One of the exclusive primary schools in Penzance are in need of a dedicated and enthusiastic level 3 qualified EYFS TA to go permanent with the school. This role is 5 days a week and will progress to the end of the academic year with opportunities for it to be extended.
As a EYFS Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing support to students in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Our schools have fantastic opportunities for professional development and have pay from £86 to £93 a day depending on experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students with SEN
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting student learning
