We are currently recruiting a Night Porter who is friendly, conscientious and an excellent team player with a positive can-do attitude.
This role is to be the main point of contact for guests during the night, as well as carrying out duties to assist the Events Team.
Experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given.
As we are located in a small rural village close to the A1, having your own transport to be able to get to work is required.
The job role includes:
- Being well presented and committed to providing excellent customer service.
- Ensuring the safety and security of the Hall and its guests during the night.
- Carrying out security & sound checks to maintain the security of the premises and its contents.
- Having excellent communication skills, as you will need to maintain full communication with the rest of the team regarding all guests activity at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Reset the Hall to Company standards ready for the next morning.
- Set up the Chapel ready for breakfast both the day of the wedding and the folling day.
