Bench Joiner – Bespoke Joinery & FurnitureOverview
We are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our workshop team, producing high-quality bespoke joinery and furniture. This role is suited to someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently to deadlines, and has strong experience working from technical drawings.
You’ll be working on custom projects where precision and finish quality are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke joinery items from technical drawings and cutting lists
- Assemble furniture and joinery components to a high standard of accuracy and finish
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Carry out finishing work including sanding, staining, and final detailing
- Ensure all work meets quality standards before progressing to installation or delivery
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Support installation teams when required on-site
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or in a similar woodworking role
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High attention to detail and pride in finished work
- Confidence using workshop machinery and hand tools
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
- Physically capable of handling materials safely
Desirable:
- Experience in bespoke or high-end joinery
- Relevant carpentry/joinery qualifications
