Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and prepare ingredients for various dishes, ensuring consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support the serving team by preparing plates and assisting with presentation as required
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and stock levels are maintained
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent contamination or accidents
- Assist with catering orders and special event preparations when needed
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of meal and food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen safety standards and food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting
