We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistants to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to patients across a variety of healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care while maintaining patients' dignity, privacy, and independence.
- Assist patients with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Support patients with eating, drinking, and nutritional needs where required.
- Monitor and record observations, including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation (where trained).
- Accurately document patient information and report any concerns or changes in condition to the nursing team.
- Assist registered nurses and other healthcare professionals with clinical and non-clinical tasks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Follow infection prevention and control, safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality policies.
- Build positive relationships with patients, relatives, and multidisciplinary teams.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy healthcare environment.
- Basic understanding of patient care principles and infection prevention practices.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience within the NHS or a similar healthcare environment (required).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo new one).
- Overseas Police Check for candidates who have lived outside the UK within the last 10 years (where applicable).
- Occupational Health clearance.
- Evidence of immunity (titre results or vaccination records) for Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR), in line with NHS compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
