Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections and orders
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Operate cash registers accurately, handle transactions efficiently, and provide correct change
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including food prep stations and display cases
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene standards diligently
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and efficiently
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations beneficial
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Culinary or kitchen experience can be an asset for understanding food prep processes
