The Role
Here at Fortem Solutions, we have an excellent opportunity to join us on a permanent basis as a Repairs Service Planner. Using excellent customer service and scheduling skills you will be responsible for providing a seamless service to one of our repairs and maintenance contracts. This is an office based role, so it will be 5 days a week in our head office in Hitchin Core hours Mon- Fri 8am-4.30pm
The Customer
Fortem’s contract with Orbit Housing covers over 17,000 properties across Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Nuneaton, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Bedford. We have multiple workstreams, including Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and Re-Roofing. You will be liaising with Orbit Housing Tenants on a daily basis and coordinating the relevant trades who will be conducting repairs and maintenance to Orbit Properties across the West Midlands We are currently rated as 4.5 on Glassdoor and 93% of staff would recommend to a friend!
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating the successful completion of daily works orders for Trades Providing an effective service and identifying ways of improving service Accountable for reviewing the daily diaries and implementing changes/improvements to daily plan Liaising with operatives, tenants, and the Client, ensuring high levels of customer service and delivery to required levels of time and quality Must be experienced in Providing conflict resolution and be able to manage challenging situations effectively Ensure trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively Tracking and monitoring to completion to ensure a first time fix Arranging and where required rescheduling appointments using our planning tools and updating and changing information as the job changes. Check the previous day's diary to ensure all jobs were completed and closed down
What you will need
Essential: • Planning/Scheduling Administrative experience • Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing • Be able to work as a team and independently and challenge certain requests and push back when needed. Desirable: • Previous experience in social housing repairs and maintenance
