Support the relevant Early Help Manager in allocating and prioritising the work of the team by overseeing the Joint Assessment Family Framework (JAFF) and Team Around the Family (TAF) processes, ensuring the appropriate assessment of cases in a timely way and deployment of resources to meet identified needs.
Work in collaboration with the relevant Safeguarding Teams to ensure appropriate referral pathways, management of risk.
Support the Early Help Manager in leading and managing a multi-professional team directing the deployment of staff and other resources as well as undertaking supervision and appraisal in line with policy.
Analyse and interpret performance information to assist timeliness of assessments, reviews and other formally reported performance.
Ensure quality and content of assessments and plans in line with local and national guidance.
Chair strategic/management meetings and effective multi-disciplinary and multiagency working.
Ensure compliance with separate grant requirements by assisting in the collation and submission of relevant performance information.
Lead and/or participate in induction and other programmes of training for staff.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
