Schedule: Mornings, Evenings and weekends, with opportunities for additional hours during busy periods.

The Side By Side is a vibrant independent café, bar and restaurant in the heart of Cleethorpes. We're passionate about serving fresh, high-quality food in a relaxed and welcoming environment. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to join our kitchen team.
The role
You'll work alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver consistently great food during service. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced kitchen where quality, teamwork and organisation are key.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard.
- Ensure dishes are presented to specification.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation and stock rotation.
- Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and efficient throughout service.
- Work as part of a close-knit team during busy services.
- Follow recipes and portion controls to minimise waste.
- Support with deliveries and stock management when required.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Passion for producing quality food.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (preferred but not essential).
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
