We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join our small dairy team, with the emphasis on tractor work all year round. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture and possess a range of skills to contribute to the farm's success. A strong track record of working with farm machinery is essential.
Duties
- Perform general farm duties such as topping, tanking, and scraping yards
- Operate and maintain farm equipment for various tasks
- Care for livestock, including feeding and monitoring their well-being
- Repair water and pipe fixtures across the farm
- Utilise power tools and hand tools for farm maintenance tasks
- Assist with basic repairs of equipment and structures on the farm
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labour
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance
- Experience in animal care is advantageous
- Skilful in using power tools and hand tools for various farm tasks
- Capability to maintain gardens and outdoor areas efficiently
