Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Part-Time Marketing Coordinator to support the promotion of our garage door manufacturing business. This role is responsible for developing and delivering marketing activities that increase brand awareness, generate sales enquiries, and strengthen relationships with customers, installers, and trade partners. The successful candidate will be organised, self-motivated, and confident managing multiple marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging content for the company's social media platforms.
- Maintain and update the company website with new products, news, and case studies.
- Develop marketing campaigns to promote garage doors, accessories, and new product launches.
- Design promotional materials including brochures, flyers, catalogues, presentations, and digital advertisements.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and customer newsletters.
- Monitor website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Produce photography and video content showcasing products, manufacturing processes, and completed installations.
- Support the sales team by creating marketing materials and lead generation campaigns.
- Coordinate attendance at trade exhibitions, customer events, and industry shows.
- Liaise with external suppliers, printers, designers, and advertising agencies when required.
- Ensure all marketing materials reflect the company's brand guidelines.
- Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to improve the company's market presence.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a marketing, communications, or digital marketing role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and marketing software.
- Experience creating digital and printed marketing content.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Desirable
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of website content management systems (CMS) and basic SEO.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
- Photography and video editing skills.
- Experience within manufacturing, construction, home improvement, or the building products industry.
