About UKDP
UKDP Solutions is a claims management company specialising in drainage and water supply claims. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for insurance claims handling, and we work with some of the largest insurers and warranty providers in the UK.
The role
This is a mix of scheduling and administration, and the two are hard to separate. You will log new enquiries as they come in, get engineers booked to site, chase and collate the paperwork that comes back, and keep each job moving from the first visit through to the repair being signed off.
It is a role for someone who likes seeing a job through. Most days you will be holding ten or twenty live jobs in your head at once, all at different stages.
What you will be doing
- Taking inbound calls and emails from customers, insurers and loss adjusters, on new enquiries and on the progress of existing jobs
- Logging new enquiries onto our system accurately and completely
- Scheduling engineers and subcontractors to site, working around access, geography and priority
- Collating and checking survey reports, photographs and contractor paperwork
- Progressing jobs from initial survey through to quotation, approval and repair
- Keeping customers and clients updated without them having to ask
- Maintaining accurate records so anyone picking up a file can see where it stands
What we are looking for
You do not need drainage experience. We will train the right person on the technical side. What matters more is that you are energetic, comfortable working at pace, and able to work on your own initiative as well as you do as part of a team.
