Part-time Front of House / Prep / Barista positions available – Bournemouth
Calabrese Kitchen & Deli is growing, and we’re looking for passionate, friendly people to join our small but mighty team.
We’re not a chain. Everything we do is handmade, seasonal and rooted in Southern Italian hospitality. We believe food should bring people together, and we want people who genuinely enjoy looking after others.
The roles
We are recruiting for:
● Front of House / Barista (Part-time)
● Kitchen Prep & Service Assistant (Part-time)
● Cocktail & Aperitivo Team Member (Part-time / evening role – coming soon)
What you’ll be doing
● Preparing fresh ingredients and supporting daily food production
● Serving customers with warmth and energy
● Making specialty coffee (barista experience preferred)
● Keeping the deli clean, organised and well stocked
● Supporting service during busy lunch periods
● Helping create the welcoming Calabrese atmosphere our customers know and love
We’re looking for people who are:
● Friendly, confident and naturally good with people
● Able to stay calm under pressure
● Reliable and flexible with working hours
● Passionate about food, coffee and hospitality
● Happy to work as part of a close-knit team
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Italian food knowledge is a bonus, but a genuine passion for food and hospitality is more important.
Hours
Part-time, approximately 12–30 hours per week.
Typical shifts include mornings, lunch service, afternoons and occasional evening/event shifts.
Pay
Competitive pay based on experience.
