We are seeking a skilled BMW Technician to join our specialised automotive service team. Duties
- Conduct diagnostic assessments using schematics and specialised tools to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on BMW vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components.
- Execute assembly tasks during repairs or upgrades, ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
- Assist in the routine upkeep of workshop equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service provided.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving parts or equipment around the workshop.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematic diagrams and technical manuals.
- Carry out equipment repair and maintenance tasks to ensure workshop efficiency.
Skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals specific to BMW vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other workshop machinery.
- Experience in assembly processes within an automotive context.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and troubleshooting electrical faults.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Capable of heavy lifting safely during parts handling or equipment movement.

Pay: £27,511.58-£50,454.71 per year
