Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of person-centered care by implementing tailored care plans for each resident
- Supervise and mentor junior care staff, fostering a positive team environment and ensuring high standards of care
- Assist residents with daily activities such as mobility, personal hygiene, nutrition, and medication administration
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to coordinate care and address needs promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities using IT systems and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Drive the safe transportation of residents when necessary, utilizing your driving skills to support outings or appointments
- Lead by example in adhering to health and safety protocols, promoting a safe environment for all
Experience
- Proven experience working within a care home or senior care setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of elderly or vulnerable adult needs
- Supervising or leadership experience in a healthcare environment, with the ability to motivate and guide team members
- Familiarity with updating care plans tailored to individual requirements
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Pay: £14.50-£14.75 per hour
